Here I highlight some of my favorites. This is work that allowed me to be my best creatively, and is a departure from the design constrictions within a corporate setting.
For the Palm Springs Art Museum, I freelance mainly for the Dia de los Muertos event. This allows me to pursue my passion of creating the art of my culture and highlights my bilingual abilities.
This pro bono work is another opportunity to design toward a passion. It seeks to convey Dr. King's message and to unify the community around it.
Operation Smile México
The t-shirt designs highlight specific aspects of the respective region. In each of these designs, I incorporate monuments, landmarks and culture unique to the region to give it a personal feel.
Drafft Diseñadores is the design firm I worked for in Mexico which specializes in design for major corporations. Drafft is also the owner of Galeria Mexicana de Deseño. The advertisements here are for high end and cutting edge artists; a prominent visual presence in the progressive Mexico City neighborhood of Polanco.
Working at a casino presents the challenge of designing a variety of promotional materials. The casino is always changing and seeking to attract a new clientele, so the design adapts accordingly.
My logos reflect the different desires of each client. I believe in the importance of typography and a secondary element that speaks to the client and his or her audience.
The variance in my business card design reflects the multifaceted and dynamic nature of the business world. I seek to design a card that a client is proud to hand out, and that a customer has a reason to keep.
With my magazine design I seek to communicate visually the message that the publisher wishes to convey- to invite the reader to open and read more. The subject matter varies, the concept is the same- to give a visual experience that enhances the message of the article.
I take pictures nearly every day. I love to capture images that speak to me and use them as inspiration and within my graphic design.
